PLAYS

Originally from New York, Judy and her husband, Thomas, are the Playwrights-in-residence at The Queen Street Playhouse in Charleston, South Carolina. They have penned six successfully-produced plays.

“We combine the male and female perspectives and spark off each other’s ideas,” Judy explains. “Watching our words come to life on stage is a thrill. We also shared amazing adventures and met incredible people through our playwriting. I am so grateful.”

Rewire

Rewire, the couple’s third play, premiered Off-Broadway at FringeNYC and starred Stephen Wallem of Showtime’s Nurse Jackie and Ashlie Atkinson from The Wolf of Wall Street. From over 200 productions, the New York Post named it a “Top 5 Show to Catch at the Festival,” and it earned “4 STARS” from TimeOut New York. In addition, Tony Award-winning producer Ken Davenport named Rewire as a “Top 10 Show that Stands Out at FringeNYC” from his producer’s perspective.

Rewire is the story of a therapist and her patients all dealing with sexual issues. One actor plays the therapist, while another plays all five patients plus the therapist’s love interest.

Back To The Nest

“OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY.”  That’s what critics have called this comedy about a recently retired couple who try to sell their house ‘undercover’ from their overly attached adult children.

Audiences ranging in age from 16 to 80 have heartily embraced Back to the Nest, its quirky cast of characters, and its premise of what happens when older kids move back home with mom and dad.

Combining farce with real-life drama, this play has universal appeal in its messages about love and family.
